Our Story
At Develop MotorCity, our story is deeply rooted in Detroit. As black founders raising our children in the city, we are committed to revitalizing the community we call home. Our passion for creating sustainable and energy-efficient housing for Detroit’s growing population is driven by our desire to provide top-notch property management services while making a positive change in our community.
Evan Fay, a retired Air Force veteran with over 12 years of service, brings a unique perspective to leading our team. As someone who was in charge of our nation’s nuclear weapons, Evan knows the importance of attention to detail, effective communication, and meticulous planning. It was during his time in the military that he discovered his love for real estate and started small by developing small multifamily properties using the VA loan.
Since then, Evan has been involved in purchasing and redeveloping units, and has a passion for helping veterans with housing. He has a diverse real estate background specializing in residential real estate, rehabilitation, land acquisition, and development.
